Call to Action

call to action, call to war/ I can't see what all the peace and laughings for/
sober minded warriors, we must be/ evil devours like a lion, keep your
swords ready/
our power is what I do not understand/ seems evil rapes good, and we
don't lift a hand/
I frustrated, wait for the strike, from our Great Leader/ but something
reminds me that He's also the great bleader/
What manner of spirit are we of/ is it Justice, Righteousness or Love/
I looked to Jesus and wonder, is it all of the above/
is this the plan/ good endures sufferin at the hands of wicked man/ it
was for the Lamb/
why must the sheep of the Good Sheperd endure such defilement and pain/
is there really hope for transformation of all these oppresive men/
How long oh Lord, must the clock tick/ goodness be harrassed by the
moraly sick/
is this necessary: depravity continued, in hope of the curing/ those
who serve you suffer and my angry eyes are blurring/

Why can't it be stoped/ Why's pain the way to clear things up/
Why can't the fire be droped/ when will it be enough/

Seems to me, that the way You've taught us to show love is through suffering/
It's all too nasty, love don't seem clean/ please tell me this is a
nightmare, and not Your dream/
my heart, brain, soul, all fall apart at the seems/ to think your in
control, and plan suffering/
I know we caused this/ how can I raise fist/ this ain't how You
desired us to exist/ is it/
the world's confused/ we've been decieved/ serpents lies abuse/ we
left You and believed/
so the devil's called the prince of this wretched system/ stand here
with remnant taste of good, tryin to resist him/
But the righful King/ must come and bring/ his fire/burn up oppresion,
open our eyes it's my desire/
and until then/ while I still see sin/how can I help it if bitterness
I perspire/

Let's look at Jesus/ let's look at the cross/ our betrayel requires of
love a high cost/
Let's look at Jesus/ let's look at the cross/ all of this cuz we
wanted to be like the boss/
Let's look at Jesus/ let's look at the cross/ our betrayal requires of
love a high cost/

but Jesus conquered the grave/ and death and on top of that paid/ for sin/
So it seems that now He's waiting/ in hopes that some will change
through revelation/
So I'm asking You to bring it/ bring new hearts or take Your loved
ones out of this/
cause it's all we can do to hold onto hope that those who love in
righteousness/ will one day see bliss

they do change, we've heard and seen it/ but still seems strange, that
its after they hit/
seems the cost goes on, though the price's been paid/
Why? cause rebels are shown mercy/ what is mercy/
mercy for a time/ allowing the enemy a few more moments to change his mind/
and in those moments some just take advantage and make my teeth
grind, though I consede thanks to God, repentance, and regeneration
some find/
I'm just upset that it takes so much time and pain for some salvation to unwind/
thus my peace is balanced on a very thin line/

and it's all the more urgent/ this call to action/
that they know where they will go/ if they don't change their actions/
good and evil at this time still waring factions/
the casualties gettin higher/call for action/

the courage I have is/ in the end God will rightly recompense
